Design Development Introduction
In this phase, we are attempting to evaluate our interface for our restaurant paying system application, Payr. This application would be provided on some sort of touch screen mobile device, most likely an IPhone or ITouch, and would assist people in determining what they should pay when the number of people or items ordered are too numerous and confusing. What we hope to to accomplish now is to determine if the interface we've created is intuitive to use, easy and quick to maneuver, and inviting for exploration.
This deliverable is organized into the following sections:
- Brainstorming, discussing the process in coming up with the problem space we wished to address
- Initial interaction narratives, highlighting three possible solutions to discussed problems
- Preliminary paper prototype, showing two possible interfaces to our proposed solution
- Test scripts, outlining how we will test our interface on users
- Results and discussion, summarizing design decisions made
- Codesign documentation, describing in detail every design change made
